Learning & Development Trainer

About the Role

The responsibilities for the role include the following:

•  Conduct Business Welcome Days for new employees joining the business 

•  Facilitate and deliver soft skill training for new employees during their induction training and to the business to support them in their roles

•  Liaise with managers to create effective training plans during new starters induction periods 

•  Facilitate online quizzes through refresher training and new starter training 

•  Design, create, review and update eLearning training as required by the L&D Manager and Job Aids to support learners in the business.

•  Coach and mentor employees and management with identified requirements 

•  Upload online training materials on to the learning management system Upload, review and amend employee records on the learning management system  

•  Create and organise classroom learning on the learning management system and track completion

•  Evaluate success of learning through development surveys and gather data for reporting to L&D Manager 

•  Research and find 3rd party training providers when required

•  Manage the Learning & Development Diary and ensure attendees are aware of upcoming classroom learning

•  Conduct general administration duties such as scanning and printing

•  Support the L&D Manager and Trainer

•  Any other duties as required within the role. 


About You

We are seeking someone who has experience in delivering or presenting training material to a group or individual. You will have an interest in creativity and design, and demonstrate a passion of the L&D function. 

As someone with a driven attitude you will have a willingness to continuously improve, be an excellent communicator and confident with all means of communication. Adaptability is an important part of this role as is the ability to deliver new materials with confidence. You will have a strong team-focussed work ethic, value attention to detail and be highly organised. 


 Qualifications & Experience 

To succeed in the role the ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes: 

 •  Train the Trainer Certificate (Desirable)

 •  CIPD Level 3 (or equivalent) in L&D (Desirable)

 •  Experience delivering or presenting training material to a group or an individual (Essential)

 •  Experience with Microsoft packages including PowerPoint. (Essential)

 •  Experience creating training materials for delivery (Essential)

 •  Maintain professional conduct and image at all times.  

 •  Demonstrate an awareness of the professional standards required when working within a regulated law firm and the importance of delivering a quality service to our clients.
