HR Manager

About the Role

The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily tasks and duties performed by the HR department.

Your responsibilities will include:

• HR General Duties: make suggestions/ recommendations on existing and proposed HR policies, Manage, maintain and develop HRIS, Advise on complex ER issues, and report on HR KIPS for the departments you will be supporting

• Recruitment: deliver excellent talent attraction and selection in line with the BW Legal Recruitment Policy and propose any changes to our recruitment process.

• HR Admin: Ensuring SLA’s for the administration of offer letters, contract, variation of contracts and any ad hoc letters are met and well as providing a second Line check of all HR admin paperwork. 

• Ensure Leavers Process, Absence Management, Performance, Conduct meetings, Flexible Working requests, Risk Assessments and Occupational Health are also dealt within SLA's and provide advice/recommendations and support to the team where necessary.

About you

Working as one of two HR Managers in the department, you will supervise a small HR team in providing full HR generalist support and advice to managers and employees during the employee lifecycle; recruitment, probation, performance management, disciplinary grievance, absence management and exit process; ensuring seamless HR administration.  

In addition, there will be HR projects which you will be required to deliver to drive employee engagement, by showcasing resilience, ethical practices and valuing people.

Experience & Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

• CIPD level 5 qualified 

• Extensive working knowledge of HR processes and procedure

• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ACAS best practices

• Experience within a busy, high pressured office environment, contact centre background desirable

 Experience of supervising a small team

• Experience of in house recruitment
